Hearts and Flowers really could have been called Art with Flowers. The owner and chief designer is Cheryl Sims whose career began as an artist.

Her art education took her to Pratt Institute and and then earned her BFA at The Cleveland Institute of Art. Her art earned awards and accolades in local art shows as well as national competitions. She designed greeting cards for American Greetings, illustrated sportswear for clothing manufacturers, illustrated brochures and a cookbook.

Her work decorates homes in a number of states. Floral design happened to attract her attention and she found the natural colors and textures of flowers to be an exciting medium in which to continue her artistic endeavors.

The past twenty years has seen Cheryl and her staff develop a regional reputation for unique floral designs and exceptionally beautiful wedding and event flowers and décor. Hearts and Flowers has decorated weddings and events in Florida from the Keys to Orlando as well as to Baltimore, MD, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland and Akron , OH, and Greensboro and Asheville,NC.
